Week three of Paleo

I am the worst when it comes to sticking to a diet. Three weeks ago I started on the Paleo Diet starting with guidelines from Whole 30. I am finally back to my posted Sparkpeople weight. I worked my tail off this past summer to get under 180. Then I gained it back.
I think I broke the plateau with these dietary guidelines. This past weekend I did not eat the candy or desserts that were all over a party I was at. I did not eat pizza for lunch when helping a friend move.
So I am doing well. Tonight I made mayonnaise for the first time using egg yolks, olive oil, coconut oil, lemon and Dijon mustard and then added it to chicken salad. It was so good!
This is really working out for me. I've dined out a few times and it was doable. A little worried because I am going to a conference in Phoenix this week. I need to plan ahead and be prepared especially for breakfast.
My running shoes and music will be packed. So will the excitement of breaking through my plateau.
