I got in a fantastic workout today. None of my workout buddies showed today so I concentrated on my workout. It always seems to take forever when I am in the pool on my own. Today I decided to push myself a bit and see how it would go. I walked non stop in the river today for an hour and fifteen minutes and then switched to the lap pool for 45 minutes of lap swimming. I am dog tired but feel good at the same time. I feel like I am getting my feet back under me now. I am walking more and feeling a bit more like my pre surgery self.
My friend Shannon came down and spent the weekend with me and we went out dancing. I wouldn't have been able to do that a few weeks ago. I had a fun weekend and that was really nice.
I get so hungry when I workout and then it is hard not to eat away my workout. I am trying to do filling without a ton of calories and that also works with my diabetes. If anyone has any suggestions for my after workout lunch would be greatly appreciated.
