Long day of fitness

I started my day with an hour's walk with the dog in the cold and snow. We made it home and I changed to go to the gym, but I was having trouble convincing myself to actually go back out in the cold to walk to the gym. It didn't help that the dog was all snuggled in my lap. I got myself going though and hiked off to the gym. I completed Week 4, Day 3 of the 5k running training program and recorded my fastest 5k time yet at 33:39. For a frame of reference... it took me an hour and a half to walk a 5k less than two years ago. All together, with warm up and cool down, I ran 4 miles in 45 minutes. I have come a long way! I also pedaled 11.6 miles, and did a full ST workout, which included upper body with the dumbbells and machines, core with the machines, 10 sets of squats, and lower body on the machines. I am at 150 pounds with the squats on the leg press machine. I am considering raising that to 155 pounds next week. I can do 3 sets of 15 reps at 150, so I think it is time to increase the weight again. I went down in weight on the lateral raises with the dumbbells, because it was so difficult last week just to do 10 reps with the heavier weights. I also walked the dog 8.2 miles over 3 walks today. Now I am tired, in a good way. I am going to sit and read with the dog in my lap until bedtime. Have a good night everyone!
