Post gs birthday/super bowl party

This weekend was a challenge...2 meals out on Saturday, big party at our house Sunday. I was pretty careful despite pitfalls. Daughter brought two pounds of Sees candy... We opened, I ate two pieces, others had some and we sent the rest home with her. We send most of the pizza and all of the birthday cake home with her, also. I ate lots of veggies, but also nibbled on some less healthy items. Still, when all was done I only overindulged by about 300 calories for the weekend. I feel like I just dodged a bullet. Now, I'm back on track and hoping for a great week! Wishing you a great week, too! emoticon

    Don't know what SEES candy is....but it sounds good....you did emoticon only 300 calories over....I feel the same way about not gaining after my DDs Super Bowl Party....just had a small bowl of chili with a whole wheat bun and some chocolate dip with tostitos.....was very careful what I ate....but my secret was getting home early with all 5 of the GK's so I could not be tempted......nice evening...then the parents picked up all the little one and it was time for these nonni (grandparents) to nap......

    You did GREAT over the weekend. Two pieces of SEES candy is not bad - and 300 extra cals is not even enough to cause a blip on the scaale. I love the idea of sending leftovers (especially fattening ones) home with others. You rock!!
