Hi everyone! Writing goals and then assessing my progress weekly has helped me so much. So I thought I would resurrect the practice. Warning! This may be boring!
Nutrition - 1. eat every three hours. 2. eat beans once a day 3. eat at least 7 fruits and vegs per day. 4. Don't eat same thing on two consecutive days. 5. At least one treat per week.
Fitness - 1. 10 min. resistance exercise 5 days/week. 2. 30 min. cardio 5 days/week. (1 and 2 on non-ski days. Skiing eats about 500 cals per hour. Yay!) 3. Relax tape 1 time/day. 4. Reward by listening to intuition recording at least 1 time per week.
Writing - 1. look for magazine ideas 10 min. per day. 2. Journal 10 min. per day. 3. Sat. and Sun., read and do assignment for class. 4. Read text for magazine class to take in March for 10 min. per day. 5. Reward myself by reading a novel before bed at night.
I've been reading Spark book and have been thinking why/how I lose focus and burn out so easily regarding the things I value. I think I lose my fire. Here's a neat Chris Downie quote from page 51: "Consistently focusing on my goals, pursuing fitness, and taking action had produced a fire that had propelled me out of the land of anxiety and into a new region."
