Joined the 5% Winter Challenge where it's a bunch of teams competing by logging exercise minutes as miles around the world. I've done this challenge a few times but it's been awhile. I love the involvement and competition. I find I will exercise more when I know my team is counting on the points. I have been on the Teddy Bears team but whatever team I get put on, I will give my all so we can win! Yay!
Have you got your gym clothes, runners, water bottle, etc. ready to go? Oh, yes, I love to exercise and have never quit. My weight problem stems from what I EAT!
What is your exercise plan? Exercise six days a week, alternating ST with cardio for at least 60 minutes but not more than 90 minutes each day. (Well, I say 90 minutes but this challenge tends to make me push to 120, the limit.)
Do you know what diet you will follow? Found some recipes? Have you stocked up on the foods? Diet is a bad word. I will avoid processed carbs and cut out potatoes, rice, pasta, most bread, sugar. I will stay within my calorie range. I have quit drinking alcohol and find that saves more calories for food. Win/win there. Not sure how long that will last....
Do you know how to connect with your team mates? Yes, am dying to find out which team I am on and if I know anyone and make new friends. The people on Spark are interesting and fun.
Did you put your Winter 5% Challenge Commitment on your page? I think so, but will check to make sure!!
