I am listening to an audio book: "How To Stop Worrying, And Start Living" by Dale Carnegie, copyright 1951; I didn't realize that the original "Just For Today" was written by Sybyl F. Partridge in 1916 and was printed in Carnegie's above mentioned book. I just heard it "read" to me and I just had to share:
"Just for Today"

Just for today I will be happy. This assumes that what Abraham Lincoln said is true, that "most folks are about as happy as they make up their minds to be." Happiness is from within; it is not a matter of externals.
