So, I have been bothered by the scale not moving and not always seeing results on the measuring tape. Guess what. There are other ways of telling things are happening.
Being able to do more in your workout. It amazes me how quickly I notice a difference as I'm doing these DVD work outs. Something I couldn't do last time is do-able this time, or I struggled last time and this time it's easier.
Noticing that when I get out of the shower, the towel wraps further around me body. Yeah, that feels nice. :)
While I was doing crunches today, I noticed my thighs look slimmer. Now, I also had a change with the measuring tape, but that was pretty darn nice to see too. :)
Even though I didn't see a difference for a while when measuring my hips, at the same time, my jeans were fitting better. Not sure how that works, but I'll take it! That loss finally showed up last time I took measurements.
So, my point, is to not get hung up on the scale (which we hear all the time), or even the tape measure. Pay attention to how your clothes fit, how you feel while you work out, and even how you feel going about your day to day things. I bet there is a difference somewhere. :)
