weight watchers

I have had success with WW. as I can eat regular food. So have a few friends I know.
Any comments on pros/cons on WW's ?

    Bought my food scale when I was attending WW years ago, and it has become my favorite kitchen tool.... but I haven't been back to WW since then...

    I didn't care for the program, but that was years ago with the public meetings, and the bell ringing if you lost a pound, etc. I didn't like having to schlep myself to meetings every week, so I didn't stick with it.

I love Spark People - it's really worked for me thus far.

    The in-person weigh-ins can be helpful. Otherwise, SP allows you to eat anything you want. And gives you tons of resources and community support for free.

    I go to WW also and a big pro for me is one you already stated - you can eat whatever you want; counting points in my opinion is a whole lot easier than counting calories; you can participate in WW and still take advantage of the information and feedback here at SP; the support from others at WW meetings are a plus for me and if I am stuck with something I have the expertise of the meetings leader to help me recognize what I can change to help me get results moving in the directon I want. It is costly but once you reach your goal weight and Lifetime you can attend meetings for free.

I hope you find what works best for you.

    Worked for me in the past using old system. Tried 2 years ago after i had a baby and wasn't as successful. Probably my body wasn't ready yet for all the dieting when I was waking up every 3 hours.

    works well,but doesn't give you the feedback of sparks. There is a slew of information on this site...and it's free.ww can get a little costly
