Well last week kind of sucked exercise wise. We had kind of a busy week and then my knee was hurting so I decided to not do anything. And as almost all of us know once exercise is out of the picture the eating goes to crap..I had cadbury eggs (Happy Easter..lol), potato chips, ice cream..etc. Anything that was bad for me was what I was eating and I'm not really sure why. I have been kind of "off" the wagon since 1/23 when I gave blood. So valuable lesson for me..when you exercise you eat better so keep exercising!
So I have decided instead of trying to fit 2 weeks of TF/CLX into 1 I'm just going to do it over minus Push Circuit 1 which I already did. Here are my workouts for the week;
Monday -My monday went to crap because we had a vet appt at 6pm and then had to drive around town to 2 different pet stores to get Baer special food because of his allergies. We didn't get home until 8pm..no exercise got done.
Tuesday- My Tuesday went to crap also because after my Dr appt we went to photographers to design our photo album which took longer than I thought it would. Then we went out to eat w/ my parents. Didn't get home until 8pm again and it was chill time. The rest of the week should be better.
Wednesday- Push Circuit 2/ I got PC2 accomplished but in the middle of me trying to workout the dog was having issues and Ryan was trying to fix one of my adjustable weights b/c it kept picking up an extra weight. So by the time that was all done it was time to shower and go to bed at 10pm..yay!
Thursday- Core 20/F45EZ
Saturday- combat live 60 and i did x stretch for 50 minutes. I actually really enjoyed it!
My goal this week is to catch up with the workouts from week 4 and 5 that didn't get done. Which means I'm going to have to do cardio just about everyday! Then starting next week I'm going to rotate 3 weeks of P90X and 3 weeks of TF/CLX just to give me some new workout-ness and try to fight the February blah's. I'm working on doing P90X/Combat hybrid because I LOVE combat and don't really so much like Plyo or Kenpo. And will probably be doing other yoga that is shorter like Jillian Michaels. But now I do realize the importance of yoga and stretching. It is nice to be flexible and improve on your flexibility.
That will take me through Florida vacation and I will have TF/CLX recovery week that week. So a little exercise but mostly relaxing. And the place where we are going might have a gym type area..if not I have my portable dvd player!
**update Friday 2/8** Not to bad of a week, I got off to a rocky start but did well towards the end of the week. I started eating alot better with my lean shakes from GNC supplemented with yogurt and a healthy choice meal for lunch. I've been following the CLX/TF schedule for the most part. I learned I don't like CLX cardio at all and I don't like that most of the videos involve weights and I don't understand why you need weights when you are doing serious weight training 3x/week. So I will be doing other cardio for those workouts.
Other than that not much new..I'm ready for the weekend!
