So my January goals were not so much a success.... I had a pretty good month in my healthy eating though. I think I only had about 5 days that weren't so great.. Plus, this weekend I did so good! I always have a hard time on weekends so this is big step forward...
Any way.. I said I would start posting my monthly goals at the beginning of each month and I haven't really had a chance until now... Here they are..
Exercise, exercise, exercise.... I tried to do that 10 min a day challenge last month and I didn't do great. I kinda just stopped when I missed a couple days.. Doh!...
Im gonna dial it back a bit this month. I'm going to try to get atleast 3 days a week! I really wanna get past my inconsistency in working out. It is really annoying... I'm actually a pretty active person in general so its not like Im sitting on the couch all day.. I really wanna get better at pushing myself to do more...
I think I will be able to do this by incorporating my daughter.. I just started really trying to get my daughter outside or active for atleast an hour a day. Last week I started taking her outside my house letting her ride her scooter and bike with her friends. I try to stay standing or walking the whole time. Yesterday we went ice skating for her first time! The next season starts in March. I'm going to enroll her in lessons. She LOVED it. She fell a few times, but, got right back up again. She didn't want to leave... I'm super excited for this..
So to summarize my goals:
-Exercise 3 days a week
-Continue to get my daughter more active
-Continue eating healthy
-Possibly drop another pants size... my size 9s are getting loose. Im thinking in a few weeks I might be able to fit into the next size down.
(In a past blog I wrote about buying 3 sizes of the same jeans I got a great deal on. I'm currently in the middle size, it would be awesome if I could get to the next size this month!!)
