A little about me.

Hey guys!

Let me introduce myself and tell you a little bit about me! Well first off, my name is Ashley. I am 19 years old and 216 pounds. I have been overweight my whole life. I am in my first year of college and decided its time to make a life change! My goal is to lose 86 pounds by the end of the year! I want to take you on my journey. I will TRY to blog everyday. Im new to this whole blog thing so bare with me :)

I decided to start blogging because I feel that it will be a stress reliever and ill have a great support system on Spark People because we are all here to do the same thing! Don't get me wrong I have great family and friends but it feels like I have no one to talk to.

I was never bullied at school for being overweight. Here lately ive just been thinking a lot about the future and how my weight might effect it if I don't do something about it now. So enough with the ranting! Lets get started! I will blog later on tonight and let you know what I did and how I did on the first day of my new life!

    Hi Ashley! Congrats on starting a new chapter in your life!

    I'm 26 and currently 190... my highest was about a month ago, at 200 pounds. I've been heavy my entire life, too. I'm 5'11 and "curvy" but I definitely want to lose the extra poundage and feel "lighter". I've never been teased either, but I'm tired of being the "big girl".

    You're young and you have a positive attitude! I think you'll do very well. Just stay positive and focused and you'll notice a change right away.
