So I got on the scale today. It said I gained 1.3 lbs. I can't complain too much because I did indulge at the super bowl party last night. I know this is only a temporary setback and the scale will return to going down next week. So I'm not totally down and out. To get back on track, I pulled out the old measuring cup to help me out with my portions. I already worked out for 50 minutes today too.
On a more positive note, I have lost 4.5 inches in a month and my son lost a total of 2 lbs so far. I'm so excited about that. I know that he and I must be doing something right to get these numbers down.
This week I will be adding more strength training and be a little more rigid about what I am eating.
