My new yearís goal was to be healthy. Iíve started on the way there, but have a lot more to do to get to that point. Challenges have helped motivate me in the past and I expect that itíll help me again this time.
Iíve already broken out the gym stuff and started swimming again. Now that my foot is better, running is on my agenda as well, plus some weight training.
So my goals for this challenge are not wild or crazy, but hopefully doable.
Get some sort of exercise daily (10 minute minimum), with at least 2-3 cardio sessions.
Increase my number of activity minutes each week
Get at least one resistance training session in (can be mixed with cardio)
Track my food/calories
My weight goal for this challenge is based on my weight as of February 4th and is to lose about 13 pounds. Though I should remind myself not to base my weight the day after a Superbowl Party (or another party) again.
I am on vacation starting on Thursday for a week and a half. Iím taking workout gear and am planning to find some time to exercise while I am gone. If nothing else, lots of walking while doing touristy stuff.
