Am I weird? Am I allergic to weight loss? Ever since having children, I have been navigating this world like an alien in a foreign body. Who are these thighs anyway? They are not mine!
I'm an athlete: I love volleyball, swimming, and working out. I like walks on warm days, and rowing out a kayak on calm waters. So, where did these arm jiggles come from?
At home, we have no cable. I do not sit on the sofa, eat bon-bons and watch soaps all day. What gives?
To say that frustration is taking over, would be an understatement. I'm busting through my workouts, consciously lowering my food portions and even feeling HUNGRY during the day. Okay, so it's only been 2 weeks since I started WW to monitor my portions and get some tangible group support. Maybe a little self-love and patience is due here.
This post-baby body is so weight resistant. Hey look on the bright side! In a famine I'd be the last one standing.
Much love to all my sisters who are struggling to lose weight. Keep at it. CONSISTENCY is key.
One day I'm going to enjoy the results, but I'm committed to the long haul, even the crappy disappointing weigh ins along the way.
