Back to the work week...

Monday, February 04, 2013

The weekend went by way too quickly this time around. I think it is the stress of knowing that I need to spend the week doing trial prep :( Saturday after my run, while J worked on my patio some more I worked on trial prep, and a few other things I brought home from work. So that was productive, and then I took him out to dinner :)

Sunday I got a bunch of grocery shopping done and then Buffy and I headed to J's and eventually to watch the Super Bowl with some of his neighbors. I am not a football fan by any means. Though I have watched more football this year than I have probably in my whole life combined! I was just absolutely exhausted though so when the power went out at the stadium we took the chance to break away and head home. I didnt sleep well at all Saturday night so last night I slept like a rock! And since I stayed on base last night, I got to sleep in before PT this morning! Which was good because extra sleep is great, but bad because when I got to the gym I still felt like I was asleep! I had to run 3 miles today, but when I got to the gym I was so tired, I told myself 2 would suffice. But by the time I got to 2 I was wide awake and feeling strong, so I kept on and completed my 3 miles! Go me.

On Friday the Lazyman Triathlon on base officially began! We have one month to complete all of the distances of an Ironman. Such a clever idea! So far I have 8/26 miles of running complete, and 10/112 bike miles complete. Unfortunately, I am still 0/77 swimming laps. I need to figure out a good time to get to the pool!

Alright, time to get busy with the working. Have a great week!

I love the idea of a Lazyman Triathlon! I signed up for my first real triathlon in June - although it's no where near the Ironman distance - and I am so excited! I love to swim but I agree that it's hard to find time to get into the pool. Good luck emoticon
