Another week...

Monday, February 04, 2013

This weekend was not too bad. Saturday did a lot of packing and moving boxes. Usually when I am home alone, I usually just sit and watch TV and snack. So this past Saturday was great in that I did not snack nor sit around. So just having that movement helped a lot. I was more worried about Super Bowl Sunday. I like Super Bowl parties. I did snack a bit during the first half but nothing during the second half which was great. I was able to limit myself in eating. Soda was a different story. However, I would only get a few sips in before my husband took the can and the rest away from me. Got to love him for watching out and making sure I don't drink a ton of soda.

Instead of continuing on with the C25K program, I worked out on the elliptical and the stationary bike. I was going to continue it, but it was raining outside and the indoor gym was locked. The guy at the front desk could not find the key to unlike it. I also do not like running on treadmills so it was the ellpitical and the bike. The bike I was able to keep my speed up. It felt great to work out this morning. Especially when I come away with my shirt being wet from sweating.

I was dreading weighing myself. I usually do once a week weigh-ins and it is usually monday. However, this past weekend, I weighed myself Friday also because I wanted to see how I would do over Super Bowl Sunday. I actually did not gain anything. I lost weight. Not much but a pound is a pound and I like seeing one less pound on the scale.
