Week 5

I'm calling last week a success. I got up early on Monday and worked out before work. I didn't repeat that wondrous feat the rest of the week as planned BUT I also didn't miss a scheduled workout! Even more surprising... I didn't miss one WHILE MY BF WAS HOME! That's huge for me. He, unexpectedly, got stuck at home due to snow on Thursday and since all my coworkers were in the bahamas (don't get me started on that one) I was working from home and I still worked out! I just got in my workout clothes, grabbed my laptop and weights and went down to the basement and did 30 day shred. Very proud of myself for that one!

I lost most of the 5 pounds I gained so I appear to be back at my starting point. Although TOM is creeping up on me and I am vowing not to look at the scale again until at least a few days after it leaves.

I had every intention of getting up and working out this morning but the fact that my BF was up late and decided to keep waking me up just as I would fall asleep nixed that idea. Can barely move on only 5 hours of sleep let alone get up early and work out. BUT... I WILL work out tonight and will get right back on the early morning wagon tomorrow.

I'm hoping to see some real improvement on the scale and in inches in the next few weeks so here's hoping I can take it one day at a time and keep going.
