Little by slowly

Little by slowly is my new favorite phrase. It has officially made it up on the bathroom mirror for the week. It means that i don't need to have crazy diet plans or crazy exercise plans. The best progress is a little at a time and slowly. As long as i'm doing better than I was last week in some small way i'm still on my path.
Last week my eating was not perfect. I really sabotaged myself on saturday. Saturday morning i went and did cardio for an hour. I burned like 600 calories and then came home and rushed back out to do something with my sister. I only had a greek yogurt (like 80 calories) because i didn't make time for myself to eat breakfast. So naturally by like 11:30 I was starving!!! I didn't give my body enough fuel to burn after that intense cardio. I ended up eating some grilled chicken and veggies with sis and that still wasn't enough. My hunger was insatiable!!! So then eventually by 2 or 3 i had eaten a huge hot dog with my bf and then that night i had a burger and small fry. The hot dog and burger were off my meal plan for sure....but because i'm more in tune with my body i know exactly why i went off plan. I know what to do to prevent that in the future. Little by slowly i'm getting there :)
