January is over, February is here, and I'm feeling optimistic!

Happy February, everyone. January felt like a really long, tough month to me - I was overly emotional and didn't feel motivated to accomplish much of anything. I regrouped this weekend and am feeling so much better about things. I'm ready to make February count and to keep moving in a positive direction! Come join me!

Looking back - January goal progress:
Starting weight = 117, BMI = 22.1
Ending weight = 114, BMI = 21.5

Fitness:
1) Strength train at least 3x per week
emoticon I HAD 17 ST SESSIONS IN JANUARY!
2) Achieve a minimum of 2,000 fitness minutes for the month
emoticon I HAD 2,050 MINUTES FOR THE MONTH!
3) Take at least 10,000 steps per day 5x per week
I DIDN'T MEET THIS GOAL. I DID MANAGE TO GET 21 DAYS, HOWEVER, OF 10,000 STEPS OR MORE.
4) Lose at least 2 pounds this month
emoticon I LOST 3 POUNDS FOR THE MONTH!

Nutrition:
1) Drink no more than 10 diet sodas for the month
I DIDN'T MEET THIS GOAL. I HAD 12 DIET SODAS DURING THE MONTH. ON A POSITIVE NOTE, THIS WAS 2 LESS SODAS THAN I HAD IN DECEMBER!
2) Track all food and stay within range for at least 29 days this month
emoticon I WAS WITHIN RANGE 29 OUT OF 31 DAYS IN JANUARY!

Personal:
1) Put at least $250 in savings each pay day (there are 2)
emoticon I PUT $500 IN SAVINGS IN JANUARY!
2) Get the house more organized (clean out closets and donate what we don't want, clean cabinets, book shelves, etc)
emoticon CLOSETS AND CABINETS CLEANED OUT. CLOTHES AND HOUSEHOLD ITEMS DONATED TO GOODWILL!
3) Have at least 10 random acts of kindness/pay it forward actions
emoticon IT TOOK ME RIGHT UP UNTIL THE LAST DAY OF THE MONTH, BUT I JUST SQUEAKED OUT MY 10 ACTS AND IT FELT GREAT!

Looking forward - February goal establishment:

Fitness:
1) Strength train at least 3x per week
2) Achieve a minimum of 2,000 fitness minutes for the month
3) Take at least 10,000 steps per day a minimum of 20 days this month
4) Lose at least 2 pounds this month

Nutrition:
1) Drink no more than 8 diet sodas for the month
2) Track all food and stay within range for at least 25 days this month

Personal:
1) Put at least $350 in savings each pay day (there are 2)
2) Commit to cleaning house at least 1 day per week
3) Have at least 10 random acts of kindness/pay it forward actions
4) Read at least 2 books during the month
