4 pounds may Not Be alot But its Just what I wanted

I will be honest My mind is still not fully with Sparking...My negetive thoughts keep creeping in and telling me its easier to stay fat and food tastes so good...Ive noticed something must be bothering me for myself to want to confort eat especially when I quit doing that many years ago...So I started picking at my brain and I think I know whats bothering me ...I started having Some problems with my kidneys 2 months ago and have had 2 surgeries was sent to a specialist and the specialist now tells me I have to go to another specialist because he dosnt know whats wrong with me ..Thats 2 months down the road now...I wanted to have my last surgery and get my health back on track..The doctor just had to further add that we need to find out whats wrong or I can adventually go into Kidney Failure..:( So ya thats what is bothering me..Not to mention my husband has been exstremely grouch the whole month of January and that upsets me too..


So Heres my plan Im going to Try not to let these 2 very negetive things bother me rite now because for now there is nothing I can do about it...I have been cutting back on calories for 2 weeks now..Buying healthier foods and Ive lost 4 pounds and you know what its exactly what I wanted...2 pounds per week is my goal because I know I can do that...If I dont do that then Im just not trying...I cant wait to get back into 2Ville ...3Ville has to go..A few things I could improve on is Tracking my Food, Water Intake and Exercising..Its supposed to be in the 50s all week here so what a good way to start out the exercising...

Im very Grateful for all of my Spark Friends and One that really keeps me motivated and thinking positive is Matt...He is a very Possitive and Motivational Sparker..Hes on my main home page if you need some support look him up..His Blogs are Amazing...

And as Matt would say YOU ARE STRONG , STRONGER THAN YOU THINK...MAKE IT A GREAT WEEK......

Kudos to you for losing four pounds - that's great, especially with what's been weighing on your mind lately.

When I was in a similar situation, my partner was in a lot of pain and so he was not in a very good mood it seemed like all the time. He has a lot of continuing health issues but his mood has improved greatly, lately. At the time, I had my own issues that were weighing on my mind, so I did the same things that you did like eating for comfort from my emotional stress.

To make a long story shorter, I stuck with the program and while I didn't lose any weight during that time, I did develop some better eating habits and continued to exercise regularly and more importantly, didn't gain any weight. Now that the situation has improved for me - my partner has a better attitude towards controlling his pain and my issues don't seem that overwhelming any more, I'm beginning to drop weight. I credit it to the good habits I developed while I was going through the rough period.

So please stick with it! To think you were able to lose weight during this period is phenomenol. Just think what will happen as your situation (or your attitude towards it) improves.
