Back at it

Well my leg is feeling better because of my awesome doctor! I went back to the track today but I only walked 1 mile. I didnt want to over do it, I guess what I was doing was stretching out my achilles tendon to see how it felt. It pulled a little bit but no where as bad. I took it easy on the treadmill at the gym too. I'm just going to ease back into it this week and then focus on miles next week if all is well. No reason for me to get in a rush and re-injure myself.

Something happened at the gym today that I found funny. I was warming up on the chest press when a woman jumped on the back extension machine that was right behind me. I really didn't pay much attention to her until she started to moan really loud. I was thinking "Dang, she must be pushing some heavy weight". She kept moaning louder and louder, she finally got off the machine. After I was done I decided to see what she was lifting because she didnt change the settings. Anyway, she was only pushing 30lbs, I started to laugh. Then I started to think of those funny pictures on facebook saying "Yes! Just maxed out at 230lbs forgot to unrack weights and then see a woman warming up with your max" In honor of those pictures I warmed up with her max and then maxed out the machine at 250lbs..lol..

    When I hurt my achilles tendon it seemed like it took forever to get well. Patience is required
