Well, I just got back from a week long trip to DisneyWorld. It was fabulous, and we did TONS of walking, and I did okay on my eating. I didnt indulge in tons of treats, but I wasnt eating especially healthy either....after all, that chocolate banana is still fruit, right? emoticon
But overall, I feel good. I have gained a few pounds since changing my meds, but at least this time, I feel prepared and am watching it. Right now I am off work, so it is so easy to graze...I am trying to remind myself that eating doesnt relieve boredom. Luckily I am back to work Wed, so I will have more activity, less kitchen.
Last week, I took a break from working out, as I got my house back in order from vacation and generally recovering...I was pooped, I tell you! Today I started back at it....Partly because I need to be active, and partly because yesterday we booked our Caribean Disney Cruise for May 2014. I want to be much more tone since that is a cruise where I will be wearing a bathing suit a lot! So apparently, the right motivation to get to my goal weight and staying there was cruising.... emoticon emoticon
I am a bit bummed cause our wii seems to be broken, and I have a couple of workout wii games I love....It may be time to upgrade our system... Instead of my favorite wii workout, I did a 20 min abs kettlebell workout and 10 minutes on the treadmill. I love kettlebell workouts, but I am tired of the DVD I have, the guy is a bit goofy. Need to locate something else. I love how you can get a fabulous workout in a solid 20 minutes. But boy am I sore the next day! Guess thats a good thing.....
So, for the next few months, I am working on my water intake, eating well, and toning those muscles....the usual. Staying out of the drive thru, passing up the Starbucks....more of the usual. Been drinking too much coffee too...that will stop when I go back to work too.
So, back to it....the grind starts again! emoticon emoticon emoticon

    Take good care of yourself! It sounds like you're ready for the road ahead. :) Med changes are never fun, but it sounds like you know what to do. I'll be thinking of you, and I'm glad you had a great trip. :)

    You're doing great. Here's a thought... take the $$ you're NOT spending at Starbucks and buy a new kettle bell workout? There are loads of workouts online too. I wonder if there's even one on SP?!?

I'll be heading to Disneyworld next year (I hope!) waiting for the upgraded Harry Potter!!
