Taking a break.

Monday, February 04, 2013

Hey guys,

Well, it's about that time again. You know when life gives you too much to handle and you have to back off of something. Well, I'm going to be taking a break from Sparkpeople for a while.

My oldest son will be graduating from college in May! emoticon So, we're preparing for that trip to North Carolina. My baby son is graduating in June. emoticon He'll be leaving for Norway to study abroad. My middle son is still at home working at night and attending classes at the local college during the day.

Kina is doing well but she still has so many specialists to visit. Today we're adding a new specialist for her eyes. Fingers crossed all goes well. Add that to her neurologist and orthopedic specialist and countless others, I'm keeping busy.

Hubby might have to go to physical therapy for his shoulder. I keep telling him he's not 20 years old anymore but he wants to continue to lift weights like he is.

My middle sister has to have brain surgery. Please keep our family in your prayers. I'm not sure how long the recovery process is but she'll be between my house and my mom's.

I'm also taking some genealogy classes so I can trace our family tree. It's definitely keeping me busy. I will hardly have time to do any mindless eating.

There are two new babies coming along, so I'm also busy knitting blankets. emoticon

So, although I love sparking and I love my spark friends even more, I simple don't have anything left in my cup. Once I'm able to replenish it, I will return. Hopefully, a few pounds lighter.

I will continue to walk, eat healthy foods, and drink water. This is a promise to you and especially myself!

Wow!!! you do have lots going on. Please remember that God doesn't give more than you can handle. Seek him and press into him. I pray that you and your family get through this knowing it was God's grace and mercy that got you through. I will be thinking of you and your family during this difficult and tumultuos time and I believe that God is with you and will pull you through.

God Bless!!
