So I didn't have the great start to things I was looking forward to in January. But I'm still okay. I have 11 months left to lose my 40 or so pounds. I can do that!
While exercise and weight loss wise January wasn't a great month, it was a good time for me to be retrospective about what I need to be successful. My number one key is going to be consistency. Consistency comes in multiple forms from my own consistency with staying on track but with also a need for consistency in my life. Essentially right now my life is in a holding pattern and when I'm in that space, it is very difficult to stay focused on my goals. I have several good prospects for obtaining my desired and needed consistency which I am very happy and excited about. So I feel that if I can get the external factors under control, my internal consistency will fall into place as well. Here's hoping.
1. Earn 500 fitness minutes
2. Make healthy eating choices and track my foods
3. Get my weight down to 175
Reward is I meet all my goals: a trip to the movie theater with my girls/family complete with buttery popcorn!
