January was fine...70% of the time

My DH has been home for 2 months, he is usually working away and home for 1 week every 3 weeks. So it has been hard for me to adjust. But I am going to stop making excuses. Don't get me wrong it is fun having him home. However, it is like we are on an extended vacation.

I am going to get back into my groove!!!!

I am going to walk daily even in cold weather
I am going to stop eating at supper time
I am going to read daily
I am going to work on my projects

YES!!! YES!! AND YES!!!

Hang in there. You can do this! A change of routine can be difficult. Glad you are back on track! emoticon

So, people who have lost tremendous amounts of weight still have to make goals...somehow that is the "spark" I need.
You have been unbelievable in your success but I also know you did it 2 lbs at a time...what persistence!!

    I empathize with you!
I get my best work done when my husband is out of the house. I love him, and find it hard not to get side tracked when he is home. Retirement will be fun, but I don't know how much work either of us will accomplish! We often give presentations together. When we work together, things DO get done.

Changing a schedule often brings along unexpected activities, and for a lot of us, a change in how we eat and work out. I know you're enjoying his company and the time your sharing together, and it's the balance of that relationship and your healthy living lifestyle that will often clash.

Not that I had much success with it, but what about looking at a schedule, of sorts, for those weeks he is home? The doing stuff together doesn't always have to be a dinner on the town -- and there are places in your neck of the woods where I would love to dine nightly -- but it's also about finding that happy medium between the "he's working" routine and the "he's home" routine.

And y'know what? Now that you've identified it, I'm positive that you'll figure it out. And when you do, be sure to share it with me, since I still haven't got that one figured out either. :-P

Good for you. My downfall is eating after supper time. That is the big one for me. Good luck and you can do this! Bob.
