So here is the challenge this week:
1. What are your goals for this challenge? What do you want to accomplish (doesn't specifically have to be weight related) over these next 8 weeks?
2. How will you go about reaching those goals and work toward those accomplishments? What do you need to do to make them happen?
It took a lot of journal time for me to come up with a goal that does not involve the scale! Granted in the next 8 weeks I would like to loose my second 10 pounds. That would be amazing. I wont even focus on that these next few weeks. Here is what I came up with.
1. What do I want to accomplish over the next 8 weeks. Well I would like to focus on my fitness level. I am not a runner, nor do I have time to run, so that cant be it. I dont have the extra 25 minutes to make my workouts an hour, so that wont work. I finally figured it out. I am going to accomplish a real freaking pushup. No bent legs. Up on my toes for real push up.
Now most of you think this may be a small goal, and you're right, but damn it I have NEVER in all my life been able to do a real one.
2. How will I achieve this goal. Well with Bob and Jillian of course! Over the last month, my workouts have consisted of the Cardio Max Weight Loss DVD with Bob and Last Chance w/ Jillian. Both of which require pushups in one form or another. I thought I'd give it a whirl and try a real one. Ha! I fell flat on my face! I could barely do 5 modified push ups without dying. I couldnt even do the 5 in a row. I had to pause after 2 or 3 to take a break. Wanna know what I can do 10 now in a row! My form is good and I feel strong. I still cant do a real one, but that will be my goal for this challenge- To do 5 real push ups and by continuing with my Bob and Jillian DVD's where they push me to push up I will make it. I am bound and determined to be a kick ass chick that can do real pushups!
