Quote of the Day: "Somewhere in there, among the worries, questions, advice and advertising jingles, lives your intuition, your true 'inner voice.' You can hear it to the extent that you give it your attention." (Martha Beck)"Somewhere in there, among the worries, questions, advice and advertising jingles, lives your intuition, your true 'inner voice.' You can hear it to the extent that you give it your attention." (Martha Beck)
I know not everyone loves having their birthday, but I sure do. Ever since I was little I loved when my birthday rolled around. Back then I use to start counting down on January 6th, but now I just enjoy a birthday week of doing things for myself.
I started earlier this year with my Sephora and Ulta shopping sprees and will end next weekend with a birthday dinner with my family. All this week I'm doing little special things for myself for one because it's my birthday week and the other is that I always think its important to do things for yourself. So I have some things planned for the blogs as well that include some make-up looks, beauty haul (hopefully depends on the mail), some new hot cocoa recipes and some pampering.
Stay tune.....

I decided to use most of my day to cleaning up the dressing/make-up room and looking through boxes of things that were in the closet. I'm moving all shoes, purses and accessories to the closet. The bookcases I got from IKEA the other day I'm putting one up in the closet to store all my products like my hair stuff, bath items and all that. It's going to be like a linen closet all to myself.
Okay, raise your hand if you watched the Superbowl just for the commercials? I know I did. I've never been a football person, you know me and baseball. I watched it though. Beyonce serious rocked it out! You knew she would the way she performs. Okay, favorite commercial was a tie between the one with The Rock for Got Milk and the Budweiser commercial with the guy and the horse. Which one did you like?
You know my new favorite show is Downton Abbey, love that! I didn't watch it when it first started, but one of my girlfriends gave me season 1 & 2 on DVD for Christmas and I had a week long marathon of the two season before the 3rd one started last month. I'm so hooked on this show, it's so so good. Anybody else watching it? Maybe I should of started watching "Upstairs Downstairs" on PBS also.
