Exercise is problematical for me. My mind is willing, but various parts of my body (notably lumbar back, knees, right shoulder) make variety difficult, and sometimes execution, impossible.
I have finally settled on stationary recumbent bike, abdominal exercises and stretching recommended by my physical therapist, and select weight training.
Recently, I started walking, again, with mixed results. Anything over forty minutes or more than 1.6 MPH gives me great pain.
Still, I would not be able to continue my weight loss without the exercise, and when I don't work out, I'm a grouch.
