stock is next

i cooked my turkey today. i never roasted a whole turkey before it was a 11.5lb bad boy. it was taking up a lot of room in my freezer. not i can use it up and maybe refreeze some of it in foodsaver bags to make easy meals later.

i saved the bones. will attempt to make stock. i am debating on using slow cooker.

    Experiment with some of it. Turkey is a great sub for just about any recipe with meat.

    slow cooker would be great as you need to simmer it long anyway. Carrots, onions, parsley, some celery... you'll be good to go also whatever spices you want.

    I like turkey meat, and have food bagged it, it was easy fixings after a tedious beginning
