I managed to keep my streak alive by doing a 10-minute Coach Nicole video - the 10-minute Jump rope video. I got very little sleep today and got up early to make a pan of cornbread to take out to the Super Bowl party that we were invited to. Hubby and I were taking separate vehicles since I have to work tonight and it's so hard to say exactly how long a live sporting event will go. We've tried before to save gas and take one car and then both of us have to leave so I can get to work on time. Not fun for hubby!
Once the cornbread came out of the oven I had to wait a little bit for the pan to cool down enough to wrap in a towel and take along. Just enough time for me to get my 10 minutes of exercise in. I figured the jump rope video would get me going a little bit and I was right. It's a nice little energy boost.
I managed to control myself fairly well at the party. I took along a tray of veggies in addition to my brownies and cornbread so I munched mostly on the good stuff (veggies) and just a little bit on the other stuff. PLUS I drank a lot of water.
