It has been a very long time for me to have the time to walk 10,000 steps or more. Today I finally made it thanks to a friend who asked me to walk with her. She called and i dropped everything and we walked in our Home Depot store. I think since it was super bowl Sunday there were less people in there. The walk was great -everyone asked us if we were looking for anything. We actually did stop a few times to browse over lights and vanities and kitchen faucets.
We walked 2.25 miles by my pedometer.
I went home to Spark and then I had to prepare dinner early so I could do some strength training. Using two videos I was able to get extra Spark points too.
After supper I was planning to go back but the phone rang and I needed to hear my son's voice for a while. Then DH took over.
DH and I had a TV date for 2 hours of Downton Abbey we love it so much we watched the previous episode and we enjoyed time together. As soon as 10 pm came around I was down to do the 2 mile walk with the bands so it was like 3 ST sessions.
Food was excellent today and the only item over was cholesterol but only over by 3 so it has been an excellent work out with both trackers and that makes me feel I am back in control.
Today my stepper shows 10763 and I had a nice day seeing a friend, talking to a son, watching TV together so all is well in my little world.
Day 3 is done and on to day 4.
DH is doing everything for himself now and he is excited when he finds his range of motion is improving so quickly. Problem is the muscle is still painful and I am thinking he should have had PT sessions so I will be looking in to that tomorrow. I need someone to evaluate it before he continues on medication.
