Big Accomplishment Today!!!

Sunday, February 03, 2013

No soda pop for me or otherwise!! This is a HUGE accomplishment....because instead of an alcoholic I have been a pop-aholic! I'm pretty sure quite a bit of my 'baggage' has "POP" written all over it....

For the longest time, if I needed a drink, I'd always reach for a pop. Now - I'm working toward reaching for water or G2. I really don't like Milk - but am finding that if I have cereal for breakfast in the morning, that 'masks' my milk intake enough and gives me a good start on calcium for the day (of course it doesn't stop there either.).

I'm far I've only shed betwee 5-6 lbs.....but am feeling better because I'm eating healthier. Gotta celebrate the accomplishments as they come....and know they don't always show up on the scale but in day to day life.

Keep up the good work and positive vibes. I need to give up the Diet Coke habit myself.

Great job! I was a pop-aholic too drinking around 4 cans a day! then one day I got sick of it and i went to water with some of that cystal light powdered stuff then, just water. Its crazy to think that i drank that much pop because after 3 weeks of drinking just water (with the occasional glass of milk) i dont even like the taste anymore. Good job on drinking no pop today! soon you wont even want it and you'll be a....water-aholic? lol keep up the good work! emoticon
