Well, I almost caved. But I didn't.
1572 calories for the day... and that included 2 cookies (and some batter). That also included gravy which doesn't have nearly as many calories when you remove the fat. In fact, for 1/4 cup of gravy, you only dish out 100 calories by skimming the fat off before you make it. A turkey can have over 1000 calories of fat sitting in the gravy! Wow! Plus the gravy is a lot smoother and doesn't have that greasy feeling on your lips. We save the the fat in the freezer for stir-frying.
I only had 4 servings of fruit and veg today.
Calories burned? 420+. For 21 minutes I walked and ran at one minute intervals. I walked another 27 minutes, too a break, then walked the dogs for half an hour. My knee is starting to hurt so the rest of this week will be a little easier.
How is this only day 6???
Goals Mon-Fri: Burn 300 calories/day. Aim for 10 jogging minutes. Eat under 1550 calories.
