To The Panthers

Sunday, February 03, 2013

I am so honored to be a co-captain of this awesome team. I was very hesitant when asked last round for several reasons.

1-I knew that I would be away from home for a significant portion of this BLC challenge and this would require me to really be focused & schedule my time more than ever.

2-I take my commitment very seriously. And I want to do right by this team. I know that you all take your commitments seriously too & deserve nothing less than the best leaders.

3-I sometimes feel like a faker on BLC because I haven't lost a lot of weight. I was never obese. I lost about 25 lbs many years ago & have maintained (for the most part) since then.

I'm sharing this with you all because I want you to know how much this team means to me. We are a wonderfully close group & I feel so privileged to be a part. I always attempt do my best & I still mess up sometimes. I'm human. I'm pretty sure we all are. But we keep pushing & we keep trying & we show up everyday.

Go Panthers!!

Hey 25 pound is nothing to feel like a faker about. It took me three years to get that off. M.b. yours got off sooner, but that and your maintenance is a testament to you character. I am happy you are helping all of us out.
