I have been keeping on keeping on these last few days. Friday was over in calories due to a going away party at Perkins, but my weekly average is still well within range, so all is good. I've got a good feeling about my weigh in tomorrow night, as long as I stay hydrated. My sodium has been higher than normal the last few days so I hope I've been drinking enough water to avoid fluid retention. I don't feel bloated yet so I might be safe. :-)

I got my heart rate monitor on Thursday so I have started doing Wii workouts instead of mall walking...infinitely more interesting and fun. I also discovered that the reason I've always hated working out is that I was doing it too hard. The HRM doesn't lie, so I feel better doing things less all out hard. My max heart rate is 193 so I've been aiming for my average heart rate during a workout to be between 150 and 160. I was getting up above 193 previously...yikes! I burn way more calories than I was figuring before too, which is nice.

Wii Fit Plus is fun and gets me a decent cardio workout with lots of options. I'm liking the running, step aerobics, and hula hooping. I started doing the Biggest Loser Challenge today as I found it for $3 at the thrift store. It has a test to determine your level and I somehow fell into the "challenge" level (there are 4 levels, challenge is the 3rd hardest). I decided I better set it back to moderate as my working out literally just started 3 weeks ago...I don't want to injure myself! Its avatar looks nothing like me. It has all of its fat stored in the belly. I totally don't. That is my biggest problem with that game thus far. I see it and have to think "thank goodness I don't look quite that bad". I'm hoping to do it 2 times per week and then either wii fit plus, zumba, or walk outside the other nights. I've also got aqua aerobics once a week starting next week.

One problematic thing with food...I haven't really been hungry. There have been nights that I've forced myself to eat so that I'd be in my calorie range. They're not every night and seem to coincide with days I ate more than normal fat the day before but that could just be luck. There are also days where eating everything I've planned for a meal is a struggle as my stomach is full. Then I have to split up the meal and eat the rest an hour or so later.

Do you all take multi vitamins? I've been taking one (I haven't been tracking it as I wanted to track my nutrients from foods), but it seems to make my stomach upset. I'm using the Women's Daily--are there others that are easier on the stomach maybe?
