Having a great day today. No, we're not watching the game. (No tv!)
Getting a lot of stuff done around the house. We're installing a range hood, island style. Hubby's in the attic . . . .
I'm making Superfood Salad - kale, blueberries, cashews, sun seeds, edamame, grape tomatoes, lite raspberry vinagrette and a whole bunch of good stuff . . . .nummm.
Checking in - still maintaining. I'm weighing every day (cos I SURE don't want any surprises!) I'm fluctuating 1 pound up or down which is normal.
I LOVE the feeling of sliding into my jeans and feeling them so comfortable rather than so tight I'm afraid to bend over! Woooohoooo!
How are my Spark friends doing?
Oh, gotta share a Bad Leroy Brown story . . . . The sun burned through the inversion layer and I decided to go for a ride and take care of some errands. So, off I went. The day was wonderful. Bright sun shining on the brilliant white snow in the mountains surrounding us.
When I got home, I parked the bike out front of the house to unload groceries. Bad Leroy Brown ran out to the bike, jumping up and down as if to tell me he wanted to go for a ride too. So, I asked him . . . no doubt, the boy wanted to ride!
So, I loaded him up and off we went. He stood, back feet on my lap, front feet on my tank bag, nose in the wind. Passing neighbors, horses and cattle . . . his smile said it all. I AM the man!
When we got home, he was the dog to reckon with! He strutted around the place as if to say "Bad to the Bone!"
