Interesting Challenge--Second Update

Sunday, February 03, 2013

Today was another pretty good day with the challenge. As I mentioned earlier, I've decided to do the 15 minutes of activity just before snacks (not meals).

Tonight, I wanted to finish up my saved calories by having a snack, so I had to put in 15 minutes. I chose the stairs, carrying two 5 pound dumbbells.

Last night the exercise made me feel more like having a healthy snack. We'll see how I spend my calories tonight. I'm thinking maybe something sweet.

Good night!

If you'd like to see what this challenge is all about, you can read my previous couple of posts. Here's a basic overview:

Love the idea of adding weights while doing the stairs. Love the way you think! I took a long walk yesterday because it was just that beautiful out and where I am staying right now the area is so beautiful and perfect for walking. Would have kept going but the clouds came and the wind picked up....I did go further then normal so the additional steps and time made me feel tired and great about my progress. I am not big on stairs because I feel down them a few times as a kid so I have some fear issues but I do take stairs when I have the option just not comfortable about going down them. Slow and steady...don't think I could use weights unless I got the type that you wrap around your ankles...was considering doing that for my walks anyway...Little changes make for long term success! Keep inspiring with your blogs...Love reading your thoughts and progress!
