Thank you for posting that honest and gutsy blog that hit a cord with me too! emoticon

After just getting new passport pics for our Asian cruise tour, it has crossed my mind a few times that I am stuck with that awful pic for the next 10 years! But I am going to have a great time on this holiday and the future ones we have planned in our retirement so I can take that good advice and live life now, while I can.

That passport pic is a great incentive for me to keep sparking and a great record of how far I have come, so it serves as a great motivator too! emoticon

I hate getting my picture taken - noticing not just the weight but every flaw. This blog inspired me to push past these insecurities. Definitely a keeper!

"Life doesn't wait until you get thin enough to capture it." Love this! I lost my uncle yesterday and have been thinking a lot about what really matters since I got the news. Does anyone ever say, "She did great at staying within her calorie limit every day." at a funeral? Does an obituary ever read, "She was excellent at maintaining her daily workout routine." or "She was very skinny." or "She was quite overweight."? NO! Because it doesn't really matter in the big picture. What matters is who you loved, what you loved, who loved you and what your major life decisions were. And this blog that you shared just reiterates that. emoticon

I used to feel that way - I finally came to terms with myself and will no longer shy from the camera.
