Ignoring the Super bowl tonight!

Sunday, February 03, 2013

Since the Patriots aren't playing and neither the 49ers or the Ravens have any meaning to me, I'm ignoring the game tonight. Reduced to watching a Golden Girls marathon on the Hallmark Channel!

Took a walk this morning - so didn't bother with the elliptical tonight. It was a bit chilly but not horribly cold. We got a little bit of snow last night - the kind you can sweep off the walk. Forgot to watch the news tonight to see what if we're getting any snow tonight. Still wouldn't mind a day off at home! I did get some chores completed, but not enough. ... so I'm off to do some knitting tonight - a reward for getting work done around the house today.

We ignored it, too. But, then again, we almost always ignore it. Watched a silly movie on the Family channel instead.

I ignored the Super Bowl this year too, mostly because I was preoccupied with trying to untangle the mysteries of the updated Windows 7 and iTunes on the new-to-me laptop that I recently had to get. For some reason, 97 of the songs on my Zumba list have disappeared. And iTunes won't sync new playlists. I still haven't figured out what to do yet, too much to do today though, so these problems will have to wait.

Glad you had some time to knit! emoticon

i used to ignore the superbowl if my team wasn't playing, which was most years. then i started watching the commercials. some of them were good and some were just "what?". last couple of years i've actually watched the game. some, like tonight, are pretty interesting. some are blow outs and dull. i don't care much about football, so it does have to be interesting to keep me there the whole game.

I hope you are getting a lot of knitting in. I think snow is due in Augusta Sunday afternoon. I did a long walk in Home Depot this noon time so I have 6,000 steps in,

I am watching Downton abbey and I cannot concentrate.
I wish it would snow and get it over.HUGS Pat emoticon

enjoy your knitting. I've got the bowl on - watching the commericals. the 49ers are getting killed; I hope that changes.

Good luck on your life's journey.
