Food: reasonable, including potluck. Good decision - have another bowl of soup and a small bit of a single dessert instead of going overboard on desserts.
I tried an interesting carrot casserole recipe both for the potluck and for dinner at home.
1 bag baby carrots. Steam and mash.
Mix together 3/4 c light mayo, T deli mustard with horseradish, T dried parsley, salt & pepper, small diced onion, 2 oz shredded reduced fat cheddar, and 14 crushed wholegrain crackers.
Add carrots to mixture. Bake in 9x9 pan at 350 for 25 min. I added chopped up leftover zucchini to the second batch. I liked it even better with the zucchini.
Fitness: took it easy today; I needed a rest. I took a short walk and did some stretches.
No partying here tonight; just a quiet evening.
