Leg and back problems

Sunday, February 03, 2013

I am thinking my back is giving me fits but it is making it difficult to walk. It has been hurting in the groin area and across the thigh..It is my leg that has the hip replacement. It is bothersome and has done this many times before..makes me wonder if something isn't right with that replacement..but did manage to get a 15 minute walk in though much slower than normal.

Also helped hubby make venison-pork breakfast sausage..It is so much leaner and tastier than store bought. Also still working on my table topper. Guess I will go watch the "stupid bowl"..like the commercials so will stitch while I watch.

Have you talked to your doctor about that pain? I have a bad SI joint, which causes pain in my lower back. My doc sent me to Physical Therapy for two 3 month sessions, and they worked my core a ton to help keep the skeletal portions in place. I can always tell when I have gone too long without doing the strengthening exercises. Pain is never a good sign, and usually our body's way of saying stop!

So sorry to hear that you are in pain! We don't watch the football game here, just peace and quiet at home! Enjoy your stitching!

Awwwwwwwww I hope you get to feeling better. If not, are you going to contact your doctor who did the replacement? The super bowl is fun when it is teams you care about. I love venison, but we don't get much anymore.

I agree, it is the stupid bowl! I can hear it from another room and I might watch parts of it later. It sounds like you might have sciatica and sometimes stretches specifically for that really help. I know how it feels to have back problems and it is really painful. Hope you feel better soon.
