Weigh in #4 & Weigh in #5 - 2 Week Recap

The week before last I worked out 5 times and ate on point every single day. I killed it and the scale refused to reflect all the hard work I put in. I may have had a bit of a temper tantrum and suggested my boyfriend drop me off at the Chinese buffet because all of my hard work didn't matter. I was being super emo and had to pull myself together.

This past week was full of too many mistakes and possibly too much Chick-Fil-A fast food. We were having a huge event at work and I was responsible for a lot of the logistics. I was working 12-14 hour days and I was away from home having to stay at the hotel where we were having the event. Unfortunately for me Chick-Fil-A was walking distance from the hotel and I ate it for dinner 4 days in a row. I was under a lot of stress and turned to fast food which is what I typically binge on when I'm stressed. I didn't binge on fast food but eating it for dinner for four nights in a row is not conducive for weight loss.

I really need to get a handle on my stress eating so this doesn't happen every time I'm stressed. Well it was only one week. I'm back in the saddle today and looking forward to seeing the scale move back in the right direction.

Here are some highlights and low lights of the past two weeks.

My favorite breakfast right now. Eggs, veggie sausage patties, avocado, toast with laughing cow and blueberries with coffee. Big breakfasts keep me full for hours!

Weight 2 weeks ago: 211
Current Weight: 210.5 (-.5) I killed myself and was a bit disappointed in my small loss.
2013 Weight Loss: -7.4
Total Weight Loss: -22.5


Last week's weight: 210.5
Current Weight: 212.5 (+2 lbs) Yuck! Less dessert and pizza and more salad and fruits and veggies.
2013 Weight Loss: -5.4 Ugh! Wrong direction!
Total Weight Loss: -20.5
Ok, slight bump in the road but I'm back on track. I know I got this and like the quote on my main page says "Fall seven times, get up eight!" Well I'm back up. I plan on killing it this week. I will work out 5 days this week and I will eat on point and drink all my water. Next week the scale will move in the right direction. I got this!

    Woo-Hoo! Great job on the 400 cal burn! Workouts like those and you'll meet your goals in no time! The chicken enchiladas (as well as everything you posted) look ahhhhhh-mazing!

    It's soooo hard when you are busy and trying to eat healthy. I know just how you felt. know what to do and how to get results! I bet this week you will see a better loss on the scale!

    Just keep on keepin' on!!! Love seeing your food pics again! I'm pretending that Chicago style pizza isn't calling my name. Don't let these little setbacks discourage you - keep at it, and I bet next week the scale will show your hard work.

No, seriously, I was playing/working out with Just Dance 3 and I am convinced I am the smooooothest dancer ever, and then I get a glimpse of myself in the Kinect screen and it's hilarious.

Setbacks are such motivation-drains, but you're right. You just pick yourself up, brush off the crumbs, and keep going. This isn't a lose the battle, lose the war situation! You are still winning!

    I love the dancing pictures. :) You're right that it was a MINOR setback and you just have to get back on track and keep on plugging away at it. I'm in much the same boat as you - last week was a nutritional trainwreck for me, but this week I am back to the healthy living. We got this!
