Mt Seymour Snow Shoe

Sunday, February 03, 2013

Snow shoe season, yay!! This weekend I went up a north of Vancouver mountain, Mt Seymour. My horizons are expanding now that the kids are grown up, I used to mainly go on the local mountain. But there are a lot of beautiful places to snow shoe within an hour drive from home, this year I am trying some of them. There are three with a view of Vancouver from the top, this week it was Mt Seymour, and while Vancouver was in a fog, on the mountain it was a splendid sunny day. The last photo is borrowed from a fellow snow shoer taken last week from Cypress Bowl, another mountain with a city view. I love this photo showing the Vancouver high rises poking through the fog. My fitbit gave me credit for climbing 160 flights of stairs.
