So I started the biggest loser challenge on Friday February 1st but unfortunately I became sick with viral menegitus wnt to doctor on Thursday and have been moving extremely slow. Not to worry it did not take me down like most. This is my 6th time of getting it in my life so I am learning how to live with and through it. No spinal tap this time, which significantly cut down my recovery. My back is sore from the virus but other than that I am doing pretty good. No more stabbing head pains. I managed to clean my house for 2 hours today and I am hoping to get a toning video in today. However yesterday even though I did walk aerobics I did not make the best food decisions. Laying around most of the day trying to recover and snacking did not help. I am a comfort eatter and sadly yesterday I snacked a little more than I should.
Today I have been good. I have eatten good and have a pork loin roast in the crock pot with veggies for dinner and still have about 200 more calories left to use today to hit my minimum calorie range.
The kids spent the weekend at a friends house so I could recover in silence without them asking me to do things or to take them places. I don't think I have ever gone two nights without my kids since they where born and they are 8 and 10 but I have to say it was a nice break and they had so much fun with my friend Kelly and her 3 kids. They did not even miss me. Sniff Sniff! They are growing up so fast. Hopefully I will be able to really push myself tomorrow with a workout, though my back is still sore today. I may break my workout tomorrow into 15 minutes segments so I don't hurt to much. But I am determined to get one hour in.
