February goals

I have decided to set up small monthly goals for myself, that way the huge number I need to lose will be reduced to small doable chunks, and won't seem so overwhelming.

This month I would like to ...

Measure myself in inches, and measure again at the end of the month to see if progress was made...

Lose ten or more pounds

Start running or jogging outside at least two times a week...

Go to the YMCA Zumba classes 2-3 times a week, to meet new people and learn new routines...

Reduce the amount of alcohol I consume... I don't drink a lot but need to cut down and pick low calorie options when I do.... Gosh, I wish margaritas didn't taste so good!

Well those are the goals for February.... Hopefully I can come back to this blog in a month and say I completed all of my goals and see some progress.

    Great goals! Good luck with them all!! 10lbs is a lot of weight to lose in a month, especially a shorter one like February, and I'm sure you can do it, but don't get down on yourself if you don't!

    I bet you taking 30 days off from alcohol will lose about 5 of those pounds for you. My dad stopped drinking beer for a month and lost 15 pounds (he also exercised - and he is a guy).

    I will suggest not paying too much attention to the scale and pay more attention to the measurements. Good luck with you're goals for the month.
