From where I sit, at the computer, I see, on my desk, no fewer than sixteen books. There are needlework books, writing books, legal books, and one cookbook. To my left is a nine board feet book cabinet that is filled with legal books. In front of that are about 40 books in stacks, all legal books. Near the wall, behind my back, is another stack of 20 books, all having to do with legal assisting. To my right, leaning against my desk, are two books: a hymnal and a reader’s encyclopedia.
