I love books I have hundreds laying around the house, most read. Some many times. My books are strewn everywhere I have no great filing system , no idea what I have or where it is. I do know my Stephen King collection is downstairs in the paint closet. My Ann Tyler collection is in a tub in the rec-room. My Doctor Oz diet book was somewhere in the living room until my husband decided to clean and removed it from my eyesight and mind.
I need to get a handle on my books especially the ones that can help me in this weight loss journey . They should be stored together , the pages bookmarked to the latest diet or exercise info. The same should be done with my magazines . I should take out the recipes I like or the articles on exercises and place them in folders and recycle the rest.
Speaking of bookmarking ,did you know you can do the same on this great site. You can save all your favorite articles, or expert advice. you can save recipes etc to favorites. There is so much info here at sparkpeople that goes unnoticed unused.
I am going to spend 15 minutes a day exploring and reading and learning. Getting my ammunition ready for a powerful weight loss strategy . The weight is slowly coming down for me. I am gaining strength , a stronger heart and circulatory system, brighter skin, shinier hair and a much better out look on life.
I can get stronger ,faster and smarter and smaller the more I learn here. Then I will have more info to pass on to you great guys and gals.
