One Third of Americans...

...don't watch the Super Bowl game. If you do, enjoy! I enjoy empty freeways and a virtual ghost town to travel through with no crowds whatsoever since everyone else is watching the game.

Have a fun day.

Every where except the grocery stores are empty ! I had to laugh the Deli I shop at had a big screen TV for everyone to watch! For me , I think those players make to much money - I do not buy into the hype !

I'm in the third that does not watch the game. My son always works it in retail and says business is dead.

I really enjoyed the football season this year and watched the play-offs.
So I was really excited about the Super Bowl this year, even if it is not "my" team
(Go Bears!). I think there was a lot of great photography, lessons to be learned,
great beauty in their movement (OK, their muscles are pretty cool too!), and insight to be gained from their personal stories. Plus it is also interesting to get a feel for what goes on inside the hearts and minds of some of these athletic men. I liked seeing them get emotional and how they act under stress. There was also drama about the head coaches & quarterbacks as well as different players. I also enjoyed a show about New Orleans. That is an extremely interesting town and they showed so much spirit making a comeback from Katrina. So, for me, it was fascinating and motivating! I could feel the energy all the way from New Orleans. Loved the half-time show too!

It is surprising that no one groes out on Super Sunday. I noticed that on football weekends in University towns the same sort of thing happens when the team is at home.

I won't be watching this year, either. I will be running errands, so like you, I'm looking forward to the ghost town!

I don't care about football or the commercials, so I won't be watching. I will be watching the Puppy Bowl on Animal Planet though!

One third? I didn't realize so many. Suddenly I don't feel like such a stranger in my own home!
    Enjoy the ghost town:-)

Even though "my team" is in it, I don't watch it because I hate football.

Well, since my team didn't make the Superbowl, I won't be paying too much attention. However, I do like watching the commercials ! LOL !! Some times the commercials are more interesting than the game. Loved the Snickers commercial with Betty White !

Hahaha! :D That's true. I usually don't watch the Superbowl but this year I'm supposed to go visit a friend and her boyfriend for game day socialization.

    Happy Sunday, SlimmerJesse emoticon
