I am finally here. We returned from Ottawa on Tuesday night. I have been battling a cold I picked up and have been trying to deal with some strained muscles in my neck, shoulders and back. These strains are a result of Sleeping on a rock hard bed for a week, sitting on a train for 6 hours twice in a week, carrying luggage and random bags up 3 fights of stairs at stupid Toronto train station, lifting and carrying 2- 24 and 27 lb babies around for a week,and the almighty tension and stress factor.
I will see the doctor on Friday if all issues are not righted by then.
I managed to lose 1 pound while I was away. Possibly activity as I was chief cook and bottle washer as well as daycare granny all week. SInce returning home, and being in so much pain, I imagine I have gained it back plus some as I have been into the cookies and comfort food since Wednesday.Today it all comes to an end. Today I pick up where I left off and buckle down to making MYSELF the priority here.
Did I mention that the day we arrived in Ottawa it was -40 degrees and only got up as high as -27 one day? Who lives there?
Goals for the coming week are as follows:
Walk 10-15 minutes- 5 days of 7
weight loss goal - 1-2 lbs
stay in calorie range every day
eat 5 freggies every day
track food and fitness every day
drink at least 3 litres of water every day
These should keep me going. I am planning to have some of these goals turn into a streak so they will appear every week now. I have not ever managed a commendable streak and am focused on working on these goals to begin this.
